The Page
Cannot Be Found
The HTTP 404 – File not found error probably means the HTTP Server
needs to be restarted. Perhaps the HTTP Server was not restarted
after the DADconfiguration. This
is done by using the Stop HTTP Server followed by the Start HTTP
Server shortcuts in Start à
Programs à Oracle
Application Server - OHS_HOME à
Oracle HTTP Server. If the shortcut icons recommended from the
previous chapter were created, the Restart HTTP Server icon can be
used in lieu of using both Start HTTP Server and Stop HTTP Server.
No Images Show on the
Screen
Check to make sure the Alias line is correct. It
should have /i/ with a
reference to the correct images directory. Also, the end of the line
must be a forward slash (/) rather than a backslash. An example is
shown below. Note the forward slash at the end of the directory path.
Windows:
Alias /i/
"c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\ohs\Apache\Apache\images/"
Linux:
Alias /i/
"/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/ohs/Apache/Apache/images/"
